LOHR + COMPANY offers young and motivated talents several paths into the professional world. You can freely choose whether you want to complete an apprenticeship, a dual study programme or the so-called trial model with us. In our trial model, you combine vocational school, studies and practice and obtain two degrees: a bachelor’s degree and a tax clerk. You decide which path is right for you.

The training usually lasts three years. If you perform particularly well, you have the option of shortening the duration of the training to two and a half or even two years. The training is divided into a practical and a theoretical part. While the practical part of the training takes place in our offices under the supervision of our training manager, you will attend vocational school at the same time for the theoretical training. We will be happy to take care of the organization of both areas for you!
WHAT AWAITS YOU IN TRAINING WITH US:
As a tax clerk (m/f/d), you will learn everything about the varied working world of our auditing and tax consulting company and support our departments in their exciting everyday work.
You work in our interdisciplinary teams and go through the various departments in tax consulting, payroll accounting and auditing. In particular, we will use you in the area of tax declarations, but also in payroll accounting. As part of our auditing department, we will introduce you to the world of annual financial statement audits. You will be integrated into your team from the start and will work directly in day-to-day business. You will be supervised by our training management and will receive support from the experience and knowledge of our team at all times. In addition, we make it easier for you to start your working life thanks to our onboarding process, in which your personal scout supports you on a daily basis and is available to answer any questions you may have, as teamwork and the ability to work in a team are essential for us in everyday office life!
We offer extensive internal and external seminars so that you can continue your education and be best prepared for exams as part of your training. In addition to vocational school lessons and the above, you will receive optimal exam preparation. Access to seminars for further training purposes and the opportunity to attend further courses offered by the Chamber of Tax Consultants. We have been supporting tax clerks with exam preparation for years and are proud of a very successful pass rate.

YOUR TASKS:
- Processing of financial accounting with direct contact to our clients
- Preparation of payroll and salary statement
- Preparation of annual financial statements and income statement accounts
- Preparation of private and company tax returns
- Examination of tax assessments and ongoing tax support for our clients .
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have a good secondary school diploma, a technical college entrance qualification or a general university entrance qualification with good grades in the relevant subjects and very good knowledge of German.
- You enjoy teamwork in a dynamic team, are flexible, committed and can use your good MS Office skills in a goal-oriented manner.
- Social skills, conscientiousness, the ability to work in a team, as well as enjoyment of communicating with clients and dealing with numbers round off your profile. .
